Individual Public Speaking

This was a mini presentation on a start-up biotechnology company that I had the opportunity to interview and research. Verinetics is a startup focusing on medical device systems that can track, monitor and help administer prescription drugs in a controlled manner to avoid substance abuse.

Group Public Speaking

This mini practicum project was conducted with my team over a month. We were tasked with evaluating the market for products using insect bite-proof material. We were to look into potential outsourcing partners and customers as well as future directions for the company.

Teamwork Capability

This practicum project was a collaboration with FUJIFILM Diosynth biotechnologies. Our team did a deep dive into the market for AMPs in gene therapies and viral vector pipelines. We produced a market analysis of AMP products, as well as a list of competitors using or advertising AMPs. This project outlined my teamwork capabilities because I provided valuable company research and was able to communicate with my team on project deliverables.

This project was a collaboration with NC State ORC and Redeem Solar Technologies. Our group gave an executive summary on the market analysis of amine production. Our deliverables also included recommendations and future applications for the company on how to maintain their position in the market.
Our research was also entered in the NC State CATALYZE Conference Student Pitch Competition. We pitched the idea of a new amine production developed by Redeem Solar Technologies to a large audience and judges, who awarded our team 2nd place and $2,000 for Redeem Solar Technologies towards bringing the technology to market.
